An Ensemblo Kit
The Checkride Clearance Kit
Everything you need before you book your first checkride.
You are weeks out from your first checkride, and the worry has quietly shifted from the oral and flight portions to the paperwork behind them. Student pilots who have been through it describe the same failure point: the exam stops before the first question, over a missing endorsement or ground training that was never logged the way the examiner expects. Then the next slot is weeks away, and it costs again.
A coordinated set of 5 parts: the pre-booking audit, the examiner questions, the cost-and-retest path, and the instructor handoff. Fill them in, print them, use them.

This is for you if…
- You’re a U.S. student pilot training under 14 CFR Part 61 or Part 141.
- You’re booking and paying for your own first private pilot checkride.
- You’re in the 30 days before that booking.
Not for: airline cadet or ab-initio programs where the school manages your paperwork, flight-instructor candidates, or holders of a non-U.S. licence.
What’s inside (instant download, print & carry)
This is not a knowledge-test or oral-exam study guide. It stops at the door of the exam, not inside it.
- Section 5, the Clearance Audit
- eleven lines to work with your logbook and your instructor before you book, each with a source field, a date field, and a named next step if the answer is “no”
- Section 6, the DPE Q&A
- the questions to put to your examiner before you pay: a deposit, fees, cancellation terms, what a discontinuance triggers
- Section 7, the cost and retest path
- what a discontinuance or disapproval actually costs, and the exact sequence to rebook
- Section 8, the instructor handoff sheet
- a written record your instructor signs against the Section 5 lines, not a hallway conversation you both have to remember
- Section 9, the legal notice
- what this kit is and is not, in writing
Why it works
The audit sets the lines, the handoff sheet gets your instructor to sign off on them, and the DPE Q&A and cost path cover what happens next either way. That is what makes it a kit and not five separate downloads.

FAQ
It’s a fill-in system, not a course: nothing to watch, nothing to hand in. You fill it in and use it.
Only your logbook, your instructor, and the FAA can say that, on purpose. Section 5 gives you the sequence to find out, with a field for the source and the date you checked it.
That checklist tells you what to check. This kit adds the fixed order to check it in before you book, a source-and-date field on every line, and the handoff sheet your instructor signs against those same lines. If you only need the free checklist, you already have it.
Either way. Every blank is a real PDF form field, so you can type your answers in any PDF reader and save the file, or print the pages you need and write on them by hand.
It’s educational and organizational material, not flight instruction or legal advice. It does not replace your instructor, your training provider, or the FAA, and it does not promise any outcome, including passing.
